With a leaf and petiole twice as wide as the more typical Drosera capensis and a larger flower, the broad leaf form of this species makes an attractive plant on a sunny windowsill. With its chunky leaves it is able to catch insects of housefly size easily. Please note these plants are cut down over the winter so will not have any leaves. They soon come into growth when in the warm.
