The all red flava has to be one of the most stunning pitcher plants. The whole of the trap and lid turn a rich deep red in full sun, the best colour being achieved the years after repotting. The traps are 80-90 cm high and very robust. The flowers are still yellow. Like all flavas, the traps die off in late summer and the winter phyllodia are produced.

This is such a beautiful plant with tall deep red traps. this is my second year having this plant and has returned nicely from winter dormancy with a flower and 3 new traps. every plant I have from hear is thriving with lots of new traps and flowers. Highly recommended!

Bought a few pitchers from the shop of horrors now. All have been beautiful, mature plants, but this one is stunning. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

Beautiful plant, very sturdy looking. only been in the bog garden 2hrs and already munching on wasps.
