Browny copper top with just a little red veining. A striking plant when grown in good light. Lots of pitchers up to 60cm sometimes taller. A lovely specimen plant. Sunny position. Stand in 2-5cm rainwater. Allow to die down in winter and cut off brown parts of trap. Keep damp but don’t stand in too much water. Keep sheltered, but no heat needed over winter. Compost: 6:2:1peat:perlite:sand.

opted for my first carnivorous plants listed as suitable for outdoors. Large plant didn’t fail to impress. Five fully opened trumpets, 2 flowers and 4 still growing, 1 has opened since arrival. Postage was quick and packaging amazing to keep plants hydrated in heat sealed bags that even my postman couldn’t kill leaving the box in the sun. Will definitely buy from again.

I bought ‘Copper Top’ just over a year ago. The plant arrived well packaged and looked ok if not fabulous. It has sat outside on a south facing patio almost all year (forgot to put it under cover until well in to winter
